This is my first tank where I actually put a lot of thought to it, so any advice and criticisms will be greatly appreciated .

Concept and Development

Experimental General Purpose Tank

In the late 20s, the Karyan Ground Defence Force high command faced a large issue. The Karyan Union had no viable tank designs during the entire decade. This fact was fully known by the Karyan Union, as most of the industrial sectors were focused in the aviation and maritime industries. The tank designers were given the ability to use the various factories to manufacture tank parts. The high command had given a large amount of important specifications. The most important aspects being crew comfort, speed and armament.
The resulting medium tank weighs 24Tons, armed with a 50mm(2inch) long barreled gun, and with "luxurious" crew spaces, with thick armor plating in the front hull.

Gun/s and sensors

5cm/60 gun

The high velocity gun proved to be effective when it comes to punching through armor. The ammunition was easy to load and easy to store. The fire rate when the crew is highly trained and freshly, will be able to fire the gun every 2 seconds.

15mm MGs

One coaxial gun, with a reduced fire rate for ammo conservation and one hull mounted machine gun operated by the radio operator.

Operational History

The first MT-31 Production variants were delivered in 1935, one of the first formations to receive is Battalion 01. The tank was well received by its crew, as the large fighting compartment offered the tankers large amounts of space to rest. To aid with crew comfort, the tank has 5 crews, a commander, gunner and loader on the turret, and a driver and radio operator in the driving area. The large crew aided with distributing tasks to the crew, and guaranteed a crew that is less tired, and more capable. The current combat history is not yet used, however, the MT-31 participates in local and international exercises, and the klaryan Union invites foreign tank crews to educate its gunners.

With Tank Battalion 01

The tank crews enjoyed the MT-31. They used it for quick action and rapid gunnery practice, the crew of the tanks under the 1st Tank Battalion could sustain accurate and rapid gunnery.
