This here is the largest species of centipede on the planet, the Scolopendra Gigantea, some specimens can get up to 17 inches long! They’re extremely predatory, and can incapacitate almost any other insect that they see. Some Scolopendra actually hunt for bats by hanging upside down in a cave, and waiting for a bat to fly underneath!

Now unfortunately, while the real Scolopendra Gigantea is an amazing creature, this mech-walker is not. It has several issues, and quite frankly I’m done with SP’s weird physics engine. It’s legs constantly pop up and do weird things that shouldn’t logically be happening, but at this point I’ve just given up trying to figure out how to fix it. It’s just too illogical. Anywho, it doesn’t work the way I wanted it to, but maybe you guys don’t care. I don’t even know. So yeah here’s the controls:
Throttle to move forward, roll to turn left or right, pitch to angle your head up/down in order to scale terrain easier. VTOL to move the Pedipalps and the Antennae, Landing Gear to open and close the Venom Claws. In order to get the cool wave effect when walking, activate AG-1 through 5 in the span of a second or two, in order to get the effect looking best. It isn’t actually propelled by it’s legs, it’s actually just hovering in the air, sitting on top of some near-invisible wheels. I found it near impossible to get it to move under it’s own power, so it’s propelled by a really small jet engine instead. Basically, this entire creation is “fake it ‘till you make it”. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make it work properly, I hate it too.
You can actually get a Pet Scolopendra at some conventions, but they’re pretty expensive and there aren’t any conventions where I live.
