Ise-class guided-missile carrier
The Ise-class carriers (Ise-gata-kubo) are a class of aircraft carriers built for Japan by Enoshima Heavy Idustries longside Kure Naval Arsenal. Designed for an extremely long range and endurance as well as conducting flight operations in extrely harsh and hostile enviroments, they are extremely versatile combatants in a fleet, capable of projecting significant airpower as well as deploying with minimal escort or even outright alone, being armed with sufficient weaponry to not only defend against hostile air and surface attack but also being capable of BMD operations as well as anti-submarine warfare.
