THEN!

Convair B-36 Peacemaker

Angus MacPhearsen had been scouring the inter-web for ideas and stumbled across the story of the B-36 Bomber on Wikipedia and suddenly the divine breathe breezed into him and inspired him into action.
After a week of phone calls and furious muttering, Angus told Kerbango that he was signing out one of the transport semi's and $50k from petty cash and that he was heading to southern Arizona.
Davis–Monthan AFB to be exact.

Two weeks later, Angus showed up with a loaded semi, unloaded it in his corner of the massive complex that is Kerbango Craft Company, and proceeded to get to work. That was six moths ago:

NOW!

The B-36 Honor Transport is a first class civilian amphibious vehicle that is all about the journey and not the destination. (But basically it is a Bus.)

Throttle up to drive around on land, use roll to steer, and take it easy as you do not want to spill the drinks of any of the 48 passengers. Equipped with gyroscopic ride parameters for a gentle ride. (AG8 Activates it. Deactivating AG8 while mountain climbing is a good idea though.)

Equipped with the full gamut of digital entertainment via the High speed inter-web connection.
There are 6 stewards/stewardesses and 3 vehicular crew as well as an engineer/IT guy.
Use landing gear for ladder deployment.
Trim down allows you to load and unload non-carry-on Luggage.

For Amphibious locomotion simply drive to the beach and into the water.
AG1 and Trim up deploys the rudder, while AG1 plus throttle activates the jet engine.

"Wait! What?" said Kerbango when he heard about this...

But then he took a ride.

    @Treadmill103
    Oh the 50k was for gas mainly and food and hotel. The plane and parts and stuff were all purchased on credit. I'll ask the bookkeeper for the exact price and get back to you on that.
