USCG ShearWater

38.0k AeroEngineering  8.8 years ago
Auto Credit Based on AeroEngineering's USCG Shearwater

The USCG Shearwater is AeroEngineering’s second boat. In 2017, the U. S. Coast Guard needed a new ship. A multirole ship they could use to help protect the navy, escort damaged vessels home, or intercept pirates/unmarked hostile vessels. As most shipyards were busy at the time, AeroEngineering stepped up to try its hand at boat building. The result s the vessel you see here, the USCG ShearWater. The ShearWater, the first of the USGC ShearWater Class Corvettes, had all the attributes the coast guard wanted. Armed with 2 Machine gun turrets, 4 anti aircraft, and 10 surface to surface missiles, she is suited for navy roles and interception roles. Its most successful campaign has been the sinking of two destroyers and one enemy aircraft carrier without taking any damage. The ships top speed, about 61 mph, makes it suitable for rescue missions. After the success of the testing of this boat, the USCG ordered 40 more to follow suit, and a prototype with a launch able boat. (HINT HINT)

Controls:
Throttle-go forward
Brake-stop
Yaw-turn
Ag1+VTOL-Turret rotation. (pitch controls angle of elevation)
Ag7-shoots all air to ground missiles

Features:
Extreme Detail (DUH)
Good turning
explosives (we all love those ;)
rotating radar

Credits:
MaleticAirplanes: Hull and mainframe
SpiritusRAptor: the tiny peices on the deck and cabin that gives it detail
TheMAsterSoldier: the turrets
Deugalasor-the angled air to air missiles on the bow
AGdynamics- the lettering on the side

IM glad to release this, I learned a few tricks while making this, and the U. S. Coast Guard symbol on the side is my first attempt at anything like it. I think it came out well. I would like your feedback and please enjoy. Sorry Mobile Users.

The coast gaurd not only is a rescue service, but it acts as a branch of law enforcement on the sea.
