I feel like your next military aircraft could be the S3Viking, because you're very good at making low bypass ratio engines, and the S3Viking is one of those planes, and its version of the US 3 is a carrier-based transport aircraft, similar to an airliner, and like other aircraft in the Navy, it can also be used as a tanker.

In summary, the MD-11 and the DC-10 are indeed the same, but they are not a copy, instead being derived. The md-11 was an extended base version of the DC-10.
