I threw together a quick ship to test a new shell type. Turn the guns broadside. Ag1 launches the first salvo, then Ag2 releases the bomblets. Ag3 launches the second salvo, then Ag4 releases the bomblets. The bomblets only explode when they hit land or npc ships. They won't explode on impact with another plane. But if the plane is on the ground and it impacts near it, the plane will die. Do not lock onto an aircraft when firing.
