Feldscher KAT No.15
hello.
This is a little truck I have built some time ago, it is heavily inspired by some Rolling Barns of the 1920s. This carriage features a walker (I stole the idea from the one MisterT made) with which you can walk outside the Cargo Chariot to do some walking. I did try to implement a hitbox system for the autocar, but it got stuck sometimes, so I made sure that it is always possible to walk backwards.
I tried using as few parts as possible, and I think it looks pretty ok for just 250 parts, but if you find any way to save even more without compromising, let me know in the comments.
Controls:
- Throttle to 100% to start the engine.
- Use Pitch to drive forwards and backwards.
- Yaw to steer.
If you drive in the driver's POV, pitch down is now your brake. To put the four-wheeled storage unit in reverse, use the lever in the middle of the cockpit. To leave the cockpit and walk around, pull the lever on the left side of the cabin to activate the walker mode. Now you can move around the motorized coach freely. If you want to continue driving, enter the cabin and deactivate the walker mode from there. I also added a little camera thingy so it is easier to actually see something when you try to parallel park in reverse gear.
It's been a while since I posted, and it's probably going to be several more of these whiles until I post again. I just wanted this to be out this year since I already shared a teaser for this thing.

@ThomasRoderick, In my mind, this was a normal transport truck that had been desperately retrofitted to be an ambulance
@dabestsock, I really tried to use just 250 parts. Thank you
@YarisSedan Thank you!
That cross.... a WWI ambulance?
Only 250 parts it looks like a 1000 parts
