The 1967 season was somewhat lackluster for Keniss. The KF66 had power increased to 374hp, but this increase in power was surprisingly too much for the transmission, which often exploded. When the transmission wasn't exploding, the car was too sensitive for the extra power, and was described as "Feeling as though there was petroleum jelly covering the tires." By Alex Clarke. The car scored a single Podium at Monza that year, and was heavily re-designed for 1968, where the problems with the transmission and steering were fixed.
