The Keniss T5 was a step in a new direction for the Keniss Team. Their relationship with Coventry-Climax had deteriorated over 1965, and Keniss quickly developed a new 2.4 Liter Flatplane V12, with engineering help from Ferrari. The T5 proved to be a reliable, nimble, and fast racecar. Over the course of the 1966 season, the car scored one win and 6 Podiums, the second most podiums Keniss had ever scored in a single year at the time(tied with 1958 and 1964) The engine, named the KF66, Made 367 horsepower, and could bring the car up to 184 mph. However, the car also had a deadly flaw in the front suspension that was realized when Alex Clarke nearly lost his life after a severe crash at Spa-Francorchamps.

In-game features:

I've been experimenting with more realistic front and rear suspension designs, and this is the fruits of my efforts. I will soon be re-making my lackluster F1 cars, and updating the more recent ones. Also; Crossplane, DFI V12 from the 60s.... imagine how beautiful that roar is...

This car originally had 7-link, twin-spring Rear Suspension, but it proved to rattle far too much at higher speeds, so I reverted to single-spring 3-link akin to the 1966 Ferrari 312.

Front wheels have a single, 4-barrel brake Caliper. Rear wheels have twin 3-barrels.

The front suspension is intentionally spring-less in order to highlight the design flaws that the car has in the lore. The 1967 car has far beefier suspension, both rear and front.
