The Sea Harrier was a version of the famous Hawker Harrier especialy adapted for carrier operations, it entered service with the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm in early 1980 and was sadly taken out of service in march 2006 and all remaining aircraft were sold to the USAF and USN. It is best known for having seen extensive fighting in The Falklands but it was also involved in the gulf wars and the war on terror. It is due to be replaced in FAA (Fleet Air Arm) service by the F35.
