RJ Kangaroo F1 3.1
Introduction
Inspired by aircraft such as the Pogo and Salmon developed by the US for an aircraft that doesnt need a dedicated aircraft carrier and can take off from helipads on smaller ships to provide defense against attacking aircraft.
I decided to use a contrarotating turbo prop arrangement but with a canard style fighter, in Fleet Air Arm colours so around 1950s - 1960s era.
I decided that such a small aircraft would be seriously manoeverable if full throws used, it is anticipated that the pilots would be the limiting factor in G force effect thus its down to you to control how much input you put in at all speeds (the plane will turn much tighter than the pilot would allow = fun on the game, not so much in real life)
I tried to keep part count down, i might do a version with camo, more armament and a cockpit but not sure yet. I'd suggest using external cameras, the cockpit one is linked to the gyro and hinge rotator to change from vertical to horizontal flight thus you only see bits inside the build.
Controls
The aircraft is configured for vertical flight to start with, use AG2 to transition and AG8 to disable the gyro to allow for full flight controls, landing in reverse (with lots of throttle control)
AG1 = start engines
AG2 = switch from VTOL to horizontal and back
AG7 = parking brake / position (handy for tiny as its moving...)
AG8 = disable / enable gyro (handy for VTOL manoevering
Landing ON Tiny
Landing at base
