To start

I tried very hard on this plane. It has a custom chassis(Sorry about the chassis (it's a little bad)) . Almost all instruments are working in the cockpit. Yes, he has a 3D cabin. There are 4 crew members (captain (front left), pilot (front first), navigator (middle), radio operator and radio electronic warfare specialist (rear), each crew member has his own camera). I used several different sets of devices (yes, the set on the dashboard and navigation computer is NOT MY, BUT I DO NOT ASSIGN THEM), (there is a panel with several lamps on the ceiling of the cabin and a lever is a signaling device of active groups (my invention) also all the levers in the cabin made by me)
(As for the shape of the hull, I first made the cockpit, it was octahedral, and then I decided: why make a round fuselage and an octahedral cockpit, if you can make the whole plane octahedral?)

Title : PRj 89
(nicknames : Octahedron , Eighter)
Type : Strategic bomber.

Short description

It is a Experimental strategic bomber with unexpectedly high mobility for its class.

history

This strategic bomber was developed in 1947 and received a strange octagonal hull shape during its creation. This was an experimental feature and it did not get on other aircraft. After the first built aircraft showed stunning performance on tests, another 3 were ordered. More orders were not ordered as other faster (jet) bombers appeared.Did not participate in hostilities. In 1961, two aircraft were converted for the transport of troops and two others for the transport of passengers.

control

Ag1 = bomb hatch.
Ag2 = Instrument lighting.
Ag3 = Cockpit lighting.
AG4 = Navigation lights.
VTOL = flaps.
Other standart.

weapons

(Bomb bay (empty))

protection

Armor engine casing:10 mm
Armored cockpit:20 mm
Frontal bulletproof glass:80 mm
Reinforced stringers (longitudinal strength)
12 spar wing (resistant to breakage even in case of severe damage)
Reinforced tail unit (harder to damage)

top speed

near ground

890 km/h

at high

1000 m : 910 km/h
2000 m : 915 km/h
2500 m : 920 km/h
5000 m : 930 km/h
10000 m : 940 km/h

It is very fast for a propeller aircraft (300 - 400 km / h more than conventional prop aircraft), i.e. for its time it is the fastest bomber. He can not catch up with more than one fighter that existed in his time. The aircraft also has a high rate of climb and turns very well.

    The internal structure of this aircraft is amazing!Could I create my own aircraft based on this plane?

    And yes, if anyone is interested, at an altitude of 15,000 it develops a speed of 912 km / h

    Sorry, I lied for a while. I measured the speed incorrectly at 5000 and 10000 meters. Changes have already been made
