Njord-class CVN
Njörðr class CVN
Fictional nuclear powered supercarrier
THIS IS MY LAST BUILD BEFORE BOOTCAMP!!!
You heard right! As of this Sunday, August 8th, 2022, I will be shipping out to take the 13 week long journey to become a United States Marine. I've wanted to be a Marine since I was 9 years old, and I've passed the point of no return. After this build, you will not hear from me again until early November. I figured it only appropriate to share one more build that I whipped up within the last couple days. Yes this is another aircraft carrier. My first carrier, the CVN Jundroo-Ford, is the most similar in appearance, but this is not that. Thank you for checking out my final build for now, and I will see you all again in 3 months as a fresh US Marine. Enjoy!
General Description
Njord, or Njörðr (Pronounced like "Nyoour-thur") if you prefer the non-anglicized spelling, is the Vanir God of the Sea from Norse mythology. Seeing as how this carrier is designed to rule the seas like Njörðr did, a better fitting name there could not be. Spartan Ballistics has officially moved from developing tanks and artillery to developing tanks, artillery, and ships. Note that this ship has no defenses, this is purely for fun. You CAN land on it, but unless you know how to make landing gear not go through the flight deck, you will be unable to take off again. Sorry :(
Controls
Activation Groups
Activation Group 1 THRU 8: No set control
Controls
Throttle: Forward movement
Yaw: Port/Starboard steering (I tried to make this perform as realisically as I can, so the ship WILL turn very slowly!!!)

Again, thank you for checking out my final build before bootcamp. I haven't built a carrier in forever, it feels, but this one turned out better than pretty much all of my previous attempts. Upvote, Spotlight, Comment, IDRC, just so long as you enjoy the ship. I bid you all adieu, and I'll see you in 3 months!!!
