UT-54A Thumper

The UT-54A is a next-generation main battle tank of the [Insert Military Here]. Designed to be an effective and powerful machine while keeping relatively low costs.

Design and Development
The UT-54 takes heavy inspiration from modern Russian tanks, particularly the T-90M. The design calls for a low silhouette and efficient use of armor, high top speed, manueverability, and ease of control by the crew. It is manned by three, a driver in the hull, and the gunner and commander in the turret. Though based on the T-90, the turret of the Thumper is larger meant to accomodate a larger gun, the bustle autoloader, and other equipment.

Armor
The armor consists of classified composite armor in the turret, frontal hull, and side skirts. Type 04 ERA covering the majority of the turret to help against HEAT rounds and can decrease the power of APFSDS by 20%. The hull armor has additional composite screens on the sides and a composite blocked on the front and more ERA to increase armor protection.

Mobility
The maximum speed of the Thumper is 75m/h forward and 75km/h reverse thanks to its compact 1,800hp turbine engine and continiously variable transmission. It can also 'kneel' using its hydropneumatic suspension.

Firepower
The main gun of the Thumper is the GR.130/60A2 smoothbore gun fed by a 20-round autoloader. It can fire APFSDS, HEAT, ATGMS, and other munitions. The co-axial machine gun is a 12.7mm, a remotely operated 20mm autocannon in the roof meant for lighter armored vehicles and low-flying aircraft. The gunner uses a next-generation thermal sight, with the commander having his own CITV and a small extendable sight to view targets while under cover or in a hull down position.

Here's another MBT, 90% designed by my friend and 10% of me intervening with it. If the description sounds unrealistic and weird, well we just had fun designing it. This will probably be the last tank I'll build using the tracks mod not because I hate it, but because I want to build tanks with custom suspension, hence needing me to build custom tracks, and the fact that some people may not have the mod. I'll probably still use it here and there though.
Simple and straight, no fancy features, enjoy.
