Back story:
The deployment of Gen4 MBTs in the eastern block scares our British gentlemen again. Like in the 1950s, this calls for another S* BARN (its only natural). The Britsh army wishes for a support vehicle that could out-gun and out-range any threat it might encounter, thus an 18.3 cm smoothbore cannon is fitted on a modified chally 2 chassis. The gun could only fire APFSDS round - a massive rod capable of penetrating 2500+ Rhe at 8km. Due to the extreme long range, a radar gun sight, as well as new FCS is fitted. The recoil spades need to be lowered into ground to compensate for the immense force of hurling such projectile. The ammunition propellant could also be dialed down for fire on the move and self-defense, while still retain 1800 Rhe at 2km.
The protection of this vehicle retains the heavy applique composite&ERA from life extension program, averaging 1600 Rhe frontally + active defense - enough to hold up against most gen 3.5 MBTs. The front turret& armor profile is preserved and a huge ammo storage is added at the back (barn), which is minimally protected and designed to dissipate the explosive force of propellant detonation upon hit. The crew of 4 is retained along with an assisted loading mechanism, the rate of fire could reach 3 rounds/ min. Mobility wise the vehicle is fitted with a 2000 hp gas turbine, giving it great mobility but short combat range. (it's kinda loud)
