USS Arizona (BB-39) (Updated)
UPDATE!
In this new version of the USS Arizona, a launchable Vought OS2U 'Kingfisher' observation seaplane was added to use.
The seaplane can be launched from turret number 3 at the back of the ship. For further information about the controls and how to use, see the Controls section.

Some History
The Arizona during the 1920's
The USS Arizona was a Pennsylvania-class super-dreadnought. It was commisioned in 1916 and served mostly training purposes at the US east coast during WWI. In 1918 she was part of the battlegroup that was escorting President Woodrow Wilson to the Paris Peace Conference. In 1921 the Arizona was reassigned to the US Pacific fleet and San Pedro, California became her new homeport until 1940. from 1929 to 1931 the Arizona went through a massive modernisation. In 1940, she and the rest of the Pacific fleet were reassigned to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to deter the Japanese. On the 7th of december, 1941, several japanese planes appeared at Pearl Harbor and attacked the Pacific fleet. B5N "Kate" bombers dropped several bombs at the Arizona. The battleship was hit 4 times by bombs with the fourth one exploding the ship's ammunition magazines causing a huge explosion which cut her in half. The Arizona was sunk 9 minutes after the beginning of the attack. 1177 of the 1512 crewmen died including the ship's captain, Franklin Van Valkenburg.

Now let's talk about my build!
I made it as accurate to the real one as I could and I think I did a great job. I tried to make it really detailed but don't expect every little screw to be on it. It has 3 types of working weapons, a flyable observation seaplane and even a waving US flag at the back.

Advices for the seaplane:
To master the use of the observation seaplane, you need to know a few things about it.
The seaplane can be launched by activating AG7 (switch to CAM7 to follow the plane or CAM8 to see the pilot's view)(You can rotate the rear turrets with AG2 and roll if you want to launch the plane into a different direction). AG7 activates the planes engines and control surfaces, deactivating it will result in losing control over the plane. it also activates one of the two gyros inside the plane but later about this.
It is advised to activate AG8 too (active by default when you load the game, I just noted this in case you turned it off for some reason) AG8 turns ON and OFF the ships controls (yaw port or starboard) but it also activates a stbilizer gyro inside the seaplane. It's advised to turn this on before launching the plane because the gyro keeps the plane stable so you wont have to worry the you might crash it right after launching.
After you successfully launched the plane, you can turn AG8 OFF. By doing this, you gain full control over the plane, you are free to fly whereever you want.
You want to sail with the Arizona to somewhere? no problem. activate AG8 and deactivate AG7 - WARNING Do not hold any of the control buttons (yaw, pitch or roll) when turning off AG7 and also make sure Mouse joystick control is not ON either. If you turn OFF AG7 while for example holding roll left button, the plane will try to roll continously even if you release the roll button.
Now that you deactivated the plane, the gyro will keep it stable so you don't have to worry that it might crash (unless you pointed it in the direction of a mountain or something) and you are free to control the ship, use VTOL to move the ship (see Controls section)
Want the plane again? Okay. switch to CAM7 or CAM8 again, turn AG7 ON and then AG8 OFF. Now you are free to fly again.
Landing? Sure. First of all, this is a seaplane, it soesn't have landing gears, you can only land it on water. To land and stop as quick as possible you need some tricks. Pick a course for your plane and then activate AG8 to turn ON the gyro (you can try to land without the gyro too but this makes it much easier so it's heavily advised)
Now pitch down so the plane will start decending, also cut throttle to 0% and hold the break button to activate airbrakes too. once you touched the water comes the important part. if you just keep holding airbrakes dont expect the plane to stop too quicly... by that I mean it will go for veeeeeeeeery long before stopping.
At this point you can decide if you want the gyro or not, leaving it ON will cause the Arizona to move too but if you turn it off, you need to be more careful or the plane might roll over.
Start yawing left or right (the plane will turn faster thanks to the secondary gyro that I was talking about at the beginning, It helps you to yaw even if your plane is not moving turning AG7 off, deactivates this gyro as well). the more you turn, the more quicker the plane will lose speed. You can even turn 180° around and throttle up to stop reeeeaaally fast. now that your plane is landed you can take off or use the Arizona again, your choice.
I think that's all you should know.
Have fun using it!

I hope you like my creation, it took me 4 days to make it (plus 1 day for the seaplane) and I'm really proud of it as this is my most detailed and I think my best build so far.
Have Fun!

Built this in Minecraft on 2 days, got it 100% accurate, I think...
@Jim1the1Squid https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/964885/Back-from-hiatus give a closer look to the second picture in this post :)
You should try the USS Texas (BB-35).
That's my favorite dreadnought.
awesome ship!
Sorry, I ended up looking at the updated version after I made the comment...
@Jim1the1Squid uhm I did. The whole point of this updated version is that a launchable plane was added.
I think that you should try to add the rear-launched plane.
@ThePilotDude wow, I never knew that. Thanks, it's very interesting (and sad cause all the sailors who died serving on her might have lived for longer)
Welp, that earned a spotlight 0-0
lol 11 upvotes but only 4 downloads XD
@BMilan :P
@Minecraftpoweer great, so we both tested something XDD
@BMilan oh that was you, i needed to test the guns ;)
@Minecraftpoweer You killed me online with your catamaran when I was testing the seaplane two days ago?
gtg to the store so i will test after
