During the east Africa campaign a number of panzer IV were Captured by the Southern Empire These tank received a number of modifications such as a change in of the engine cannon

These tank were manly use for reserve units but some did see combat lead to a German made vs German made tank battle but some where made in to the T-IV-0 or field mod.FG.37.TR the full name for this is field modification 1940 flak gun 37.MM turret replacement which is SPAA variant of the T-IV only nineteenth of these tank where made because T-IVs where rare in the Frist place and there where not a lot of Capture flak 37 AAA by all accounts this SPAA was relatively successful in role it was made to play and in other role during a Italian attack in SE and British
field supply Depo and captured Italian factory three T-IV-0s where use as a IFV and they where moderately successful in that role two and five of these tanks even made it to the European Theater
