Hello!
Description
The M.500 was a project I did on and off for around 3-6 months, I don't know exactly. Maybe a month after my Torial Tactical Bomber? Anyway, I put a load of effort into this and this is my first plane with a panelled fuselage. The quality of panels might differ a bit considering this was made on and off for ages. But yeah, I'm proud to announce that this is finally done. It's even got a dual sided camo, which I think is a first for me? I'm super proud of it and put a load of effort into it, so I hope you enjoy!
History
The M.500 was developed after the bomber command realised that they needed to modernise their strategic bomber force as war was beginning to appear likely. The M.500 saw service on all fronts of the war until its replacement came a couple of years later into the war. Many variants of the M.500 bomber were made including a daylight bombing one, a turn from the countries night bombing doctrine. Many museums today have at least one part from the M.500 bomber as it was the most iconic strategic bomber for its time.
Armament
Bomb load: 3 "Big boom" bombs
Defensive armament: 4 turrets: 1 at the tail, 1 on the bottom, 1 at the top and 1 at the front.
Controls
Not many controls. W and S for pitch, A and D for roll and E and Q for yaw.
AG 1 to activate bomb bay, be sure to pull DOWN on the VTOL slider otherwise bad things will happen to the bomber.
ENJOY!
