Auto Credit Based on MajGenBlackbird's Hanker T-4 Instructor
The Hanker A-5 Pounder is a deravation of the T-4 Instructor designed for close air support and ground attack. Hanker, seeing the success of the T-4, decided to upgun the T-4, adding six more .50 caliber M2 browning HMG’s mounted in the nose. The top four guns would fire purely AP (armor-piercing) rounds, while the lower two guns in the nose and the guns in the wings would fire purely HE (high-explosive) rounds. There was also two more hardpoints mounted to the outer wings, which usually ground crews would fit rocket pods to.
