RamboJutter Sea-Knight 5.3

Introduction

Firstly I hope everyone had a good Christmas, I know I did.

Here we have my attempt to amalgamate between "stealth" and a seaplane resurection.

Built with retractable water skis (Seadart-esc), a large single engine fed from a top mounted air intake and including fuselage mounted weapons bays I think it ticks most of the boxes needed for a modern seaplane fighter. Its not massive, its designed to be employed enmasse before retreating to appropriate ships (or submarines?) appropriately tasked to re-arm them, hence light armament and no gun.

I decided to paint it in a WW2 style Fleet Air Arm colour scheme with a waving flag style fin art for fun.

Controls

AG1 = start engine
LG = retract skis
AG3 = weapons bays / arm sidewinders

    Ooooohhhhhhhhhhh that's goood... That's gooooooddddddd~ it's been a good while since I've seen and flown a plane that's made me grimace with pleasure just looking at it, and flying it.

    Awesome job!

    @RamboJutter You go to the weapon attributes, add "waterproof" attribute and set it to "true"

    @MartinAeronautics Good idea, i never thought of reverse thrust to solve the lack of water friction issue, might add it to a future version.

    Beautiful design. Very unique. I would only advise adding some sort of airbrake or reverse thrust to slow down once you land in the water.

    @HariTheSnakk thanks, I didntveven realise it was possible to make missiles waterproof, how do you do that? (Not that I ever build anything that involves underwater but it might be useful to know)

    Yet another beautiful aircraft with fantastic handling, and an overall underrated aircraft concept combined with stealth, like some uncanny NATF-23.
    .
    My only critique is you didn't set the missiles to be waterproof, which is not that big of a deal anyway and it's not exactly something that even I do all the time.
    .
    Overall

    10/10
