M-War II is gonna get drones??

Yes, yes we are.

Meet the MQ-14C Tidal Hawk.
With a design quite similar to the MQ-9 Reaper, the MQ-14 is a fearsome drone. It may be small, but trust me, this bird can pack a punch thanks to its advanced camera seeker and provisions for up to four missiles of virtually any kind.

Now, the benefits of using drones in combat are obvious, but although able to act as a normal UAV, the MQ-14C serves a slightly different purpose than your Average Joe. You see, the Tidal Hawk is made to collaborate with naval vessels, as it can scout over the land and tell ships exactly where targets like bunkers, bases, anti-shipping weapons or even normal ground targets may be.

But here's where the Tidal Hawk introduces its biggest advantage: It calculates pretty much every variable needed to tell the ship not only where the target is, but how to aim their guns. Angle, movement speed, direction, wind, target mobility, distance, you name it. This means that the MQ-14C essentially allows ships to perform accurate BvR combat, even if the ship doesn't use missiles. Granted, ships can still pull off this role without assistance, but the quickness, accuracy, and range provided by this drone remain undeniable if not uncontested. It will especially prove a key point with ships like Snowstone's Musashi who use heavy guns to bombard enemy targets.

We know what he's gonna do in M-War II. Now about flying the drone...
Takeoff may be a little tricky due to the ventral fin which makes it difficult to pitch up on the ground. But once you gain enough speed to clear the ground, going up shouldn't be a problem in spite of the drone's slow speed. You might want to beware of the drone's roll though: to allow agility for both getting around easily and dodging enemy attacks, the drone can roll VERY fast. Do be warned of this before entering the battlefield. And as for landing, don't do anything unreasonable, but it should be able to tank a bit of force. This drone was made for naval landings after all.
