TN #81, 16th Attack Squadron

The Kampilan is a light attack aircraft developed and built by the Philippine Aerospace Development Corporation. It is 20% smaller than the 2 seater A-29 Super Tucano, in which it is to complement. It has the exact same propeller and powerplant as the Tucano.

The main weapon of this aircraft is the twin 30mm cannon mounted on pods beneath the machine guns. Alongside that, it can also carry 1000kg of munitions in seven hard points along the wings. Auxiliary tanks on dedicated pylons can optionally be mounted, depending on the mission. The aircraft has a side looking airborne radar installed between the cockpit and the engine, in which it necessitated the taildragger layout of the landing gear. The aircraft also features semi-autopilot, which allows you to hold attitude and/or roll.

Aircraft number 81 is unique due to its asymmetric cannon pods, the left pod is bigger than the right. It shouldn't affect the performance of the aircraft in any way.
