This is the third version of my build of the Tigermoth from Hayao Miyazaki's Laputa. I have the deepest admiration for his passion and attention to detail, and I've done my best to build this to scale. All the major spaces are present, including the bridge, captain's stateroom, dining/bunk room, galley, engine room, and flaptor bay. There are plenty of little details to discover, including a fully functional glider. This build was completed prior to the last update, so it'll probably get a refresh eventually.
Controls are as follows
Input: output (number refers to activation group)
Tigermoth
Pitch: pitch
Roll: yaw + minor roll effect
Yaw: disabled
Trim: adjust wing/wing props angle of attack
2+throttle: wing props
3+throttle: tail props
1+VTOL up: lift (throttle internal jets for buoyancy. Full up is slight positive buoyancy)
4+VTOL up: flaptor bay door (4+VTOL down: minor explosion!)
5+VTOL up: deploy glider wings (5+VTOL down: glider destroys itself!)
6: release glider from Tigermoth
6+VTOL up: extend glider tether cable (6+VTOL down: retract glider cable
7: release glider from tether cable
8: deactivate Tigermoth control inputs to fly glider independently
Glider
Pitch: pitch
Roll: roll
Yaw: yaw
5+VTOL: open/close wings and tail (VTOL neutral is fully closed; VTOL down will result in explosion)
Cameras:
1: pilot
2: radio operator
3: lookout
4: dining room
5: galley
6: Captain's stateroom
7: engine room
8: flaptor bay
9: glider cockpit
10: glider chase cam
Notes: the glider will deploy properly if the airship is flying straight and level at full speed. It has no gyro, instrumentation, or other assist, but it will fly for a very long way untethered.

I know this is huge; a much more parts-efficient version with modern building techniques and a more functional bridge is in the works! Watch this space.
Cool!
@Freerider2142 thank you!!
@Engine440 that's next now that the new Savoia is finished! Going to try and reduce the part count a little bit.
I love it!
this is very impressive!!
Really Nice Work!!!
Is there goanna be a MK IIII?
