Just kidding, it can definitely go over supersonic.
Basically the TUPL equivalent of a B-1, but appearance makes it hard to tell because TUPL ? Tupolev (? means "not equals") lol. Now, the 8 in its name may suggest otherwise, but both the Sonic Strike's appearance and I will tell you that the B-8B is newer than the B-9B in both real life and lore.
AG1 for the bombay, AG2 for refueling boom, AG3-5 for the pylons, AG8 for lights, and that's really all you need to know. As always...

-(potentially) faster
-Larger bomb payload
-Smaller airframe (which is good, since it's harder to hit)
-Less expensive, including fuel/maintenance costs
-Easier maintenance
-Possibly stealthier (because of the intakes)
-Doesn't suffer from the "Pro-Soviet/Anti-American Bias" of Gaijin (TUPL normally works with/for America, but for some reason he/I chose to make this a bomber from Australia lol)
-Can dogfight without missiles
-Actually replaced its predecessor (not the B-7B or B-9B, rather the B-10B)
BUT THERE'S A CATCH. Technically speaking, as a bomber the B-8B does both everything and nothing better than the B-1, because the B-1 is actually a heavy/strategic bomber, while the B-8B is basically an interdictor/penetrator, in spite of that otherworldly payload lol

Ok so, as it would turn out, I don't think you ever knew about this. Point being, as a B-29 simp, I couldn't let that slide, and prepared for war. Preparation for said war sparked the creation of several aircraft, including this here B-8B which can fly deep into enemy territory and drop heavy payloads whilst still being fast enough to escape, but agile enough to attack enemy fighters. However, Maja managed to atone for the "crime," so the war never happened, and the B-8B shall return to the inventory of the MDA until the Crestan Conflict's ground war begins.

This will be the primary bomber of TUPL, but several will be sold to you and Crestel.
Also, this bomber, in spite of its quality, was actually a rush job built for heavy attack and interdiction due to high tensions with Majakalona- and yet this still took 8 hours to make. This is also why it has guns despite being a modern designated bomber, albeit said guns are front-facing/mounted, fixed, and pilot-controlled, designed for offense as opposed to the classic defensive gunners.
