Flag of Palestine

18.4k FlagsWorldwide  4.8 years ago

Now, before I get a bunch of angry people saying "Palestine is not a UN member", I understand that the United States is currently preventing Palestine from becoming a full UN member. However, Palestine, like Vatican City,
is an Observer State in the UN. For me, that qualifies them as a UN-recognized nation, even though Israel is not happy with Palestine's existence. Palestine, or the Palestinian Authority, is a nation to some and a rebellious part of Israel to others, from what I understand. Founded as part of an agreement signed by the UN, it was made to give the Arabs, who had been kicked out of the place where Israel stands today, a tract of land to live on. Israel didn't like this, and so it was never officially passed. Instead, Palestine declared independence anyway. The flag of Palestine, which utilizes the Pan-Arab colors of black, white, green, and red. Palestine's flag is very similar to the Jordanian flag. The black represents the oppression that the Palestinians suffer from. White represents peace and love, which was the message that prophets sent to Palestine. Finally, green represents prosperity, development, and blessings of hope for a Palestinian future.

@UFNNICF5TF Flag of the United Nations. Then, maybe historical flags and flags of nations that could pop up in the future. The world of Geopolitics is always changing, always moving.

@Mtech thank you! I will try my best. While it looks complex(understatement of the year) I will see how much my mind can take.

@Mtech you said you'd give me a harder challenge if I made it, so I'm still waiting for that challenge.

@FairFireFight Sure. I need something to lower my stress, so an easy flag would help. I'm trying to make Saudi Arabia's flag. That's going well, as well as you'd expect it to.

Didn’t say it was easy. I would struggle, especially at making it look like the flag it was meant to.

@Strucker flags in this game seem simple until you look at a flag like the United States or Serbia. Flags vary in difficulty, which is shown usually with their part count. They range from 9-part Tricolores like France and Italy to a 287-part flag like the United States.
