The Yom Kippur War - Replica Challenge [CLOSED]
The Yom Kippur War - Replica Challenge
October is coming soon. Let's make a replica-building challenge based on the historic Yom Kippur War.
History:
The Yom Kippur War, also known as the Ramadan War, the October War, the 1973 Arab–Israeli War, or the Fourth Arab–Israeli War, was an armed conflict fought from 6 to October 25th, 1973, between Israel and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria. Most combats between the two sides took place in the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights—both occupied by Israel in 1967—with some fighting in African Egypt and northern Israel. Egypt's initial objective in the war was to seize a foothold on the eastern bank of the Suez Canal and subsequently leverage these gains to negotiate the return of the rest of the Israeli-occupied Sinai Peninsula.

The winners are
1) @MrAdhmGamer 's Mig-21 Bis Egyptian Air Force
2) @JavierWorks 's Sukhoi Su-7BMK Fitter
3) @Hannyboy 's Mig-21 Syrian Airforce
4) Honorable mention: @Simpleplanes25 's Sukhoi Su-7BMK Fitter
Both entries are so good for 1st and 2nd place, and I have difficulty choosing from them. JavierWorks 's Sukhoi Su-7 was great built and very beautiful. Both were constructed nicely with multiple engines to look and feel real. But I choose MrAdhmGamer's MiG because it has custom weapons, landing gear, and a special maneuver mode.
Thank you all for joining the challenge. Unfortunately, there was no entry on the Israeli side.
I am upvoting you all one by one now.
@WinsWings lmao. Then i guess i have to upload more often.
@JavierWorks you did the great job. Almost every builds by yours are upvoted and I got a hard time to find 6 upvotes. Lol.
@JavierWorks Thanks Bro <3
@MrAdhmGamer congrats bro. That MiG-21 of yours is very well done.
@WinsWings it's okay for me that i went second. a very fun challenge mate. Hoping to see more challenges from you
@WinsWings big thanks for you for all your upvotes <3
@WinsWings you made my day bro
its not my first challenge to join but my first challenge to take first place
@JavierWorks and thank you for making the Su-7 i really loved it and congratulations for 2nd place and thank you all :D
@WinsWings alright good luck mate
@MrAdhmGamer I am in New York, and we are & hours behind GMT, and the Challenge is still open until the end of 5th October (NY standard time). And I will announce on 8th or 9th October or as early as possible
so
who win ?
@WinsWings ooops ok
No i did not extend the deadline @Hannyboy
The Deadline is 5th October (New York time), this is still open. @JavierWorks
@JavierWorks the deadline was extended
Who won @WinsWings?
@WinsWings yeah hehe Egypt or arab side wins😉
@WinsWings idk,
Uh,,, so far no Israeli planes show up? lol
@MrAdhmGamer when you download a plane and modified it, the new plane is a successor of the older one. in this case, I want people to download and use this plane as a predecessor
@WinsWings what is the successor btw ?
and is it important ?
@MrAdhmGamer Yes, ask the moderator for help f your plane is not a successor
imma join but i have already project its Mig-21 so i didn't upload it yet can i make this one join the challenge? @WinsWings
It's sad to see that this challenge is nearing its end.
I saw there were over 550+ downloads (as of 9/19/22), but only one airplane was uploaded so far. This is a strange challenge. I hope everyone is busy with the details and will post them once close to the deadline. Goodluck guys.
