History of the CFOPAV
The CFOPAV or Completely Fucking Overpower Assault Vehicle was introduced to the USA army into the 1943, in Pacific war, for help to escort and facilitate the amphibious assaults for the US Marine corps, It fits perfectly inside of a assault boat, or easy can be attached to an amphibious tank and be dragged out of the sea, or can be attached with 2 small electric propellers for swim to the coast
The main armament was designed for never have absence of ammunition, if the Imperial Japanese Navy put out of service an important number of Logistics Ships, but at time Bring more support than a simply tank in combat
Based on a M3 Half-Track, this was a longer version, with more guns, thicker armor and an absolutely excessive amount of guns
Also the CFOAV was designed with open roof but with anti-grenades chain, for facilitate to the infantry for shoot from inside without get completely exposed
It can carry 10 Soldiers + 7 crewman for the multiples Guns for cover the advance of the infantry, but there are variants when are replaced the 2 laterals M2 browning HMG for 4 extra seats
ARMAMENT
For the CFOAV was decided not too heavy antitank armament, because was discovered than the UK’s Boys Antitank Rifle 55” was effective against the armor of the Light infantry tanks of japan
Also it have 2 M252 81mm mortars, for purposes of Self Propelled Artillery and support the infantry, that’s why we choose the name of this wonderful assault vehicle
And of course, all existing US army vehicle, MUST have a M2 browning HMG, and it’s presence don’t need much explanation, there are 3 browning at total, one in a 360° turret at the front, which is operated by the radio operator, and other 2 at the laterals
