Pionier MBT-71

MBT-71 is an Experimental Main Battle Tank of Belgan Federation developed between 1963-1971.

The Federation was planning to switch to the MBT system with this tank, but the project was not successful.

The main purpose of this tank was to fight Isido tanks, which was the only border neighbor of the Federation in those years.

Therefore, while the Federation insisted on improving the armor protection, this armor protection was causing great problems for the engineers.

eventually Pionier Dynamics withdrew from the project in 1971

OPERATIONS ATTENDED

2 of the 3 prototypes were donated to museums (Federation Armored Troops Museum-Federation Vera Tension Museum) 1 was used as a Live target and was shot in 1998
