The BMP-2V was a prototype gun carrier produced in the Soviet Union in 1976, 3 were made over the course of 6 months of development. The final prototype featured a 6 inch (152.4mm) SV-70 smoothbore cannon, firing Semi Armor Piercing (SAPHE-FS) shells that are a perfect ballistic match to the co-axial 14.5mm KPVT rangefinding machine gun.
