Press (1) to activate lights. VTOL UP for air brakes and spoilers. VTOL DOWN for flaps. Project Yehudi is an ongoing project to make aircraft less visible at night through the use of counter-illumination in order to make the aircraft less visible at night. While it may seem counter-intuitive to illuminate an aircraft at night in order to hide it, the purpose of the lights is to bring the shadow of the aircraft to the same brightness as the night sky, given that nighttime is not perfectly dark due to the Moon and the stars. The project is currently limited by the lack of availability of adjustable brightness on the lights. However, the project has shown promise.
