Auto Credit Based on Sup3rtiger's FVA 10b
The FVA 10b "Rheinland" was a high performance glider which first flew in 1937.
Originaly it was an experimental glider to study new fuselage and airfoil designs, but was later build in small numbers (8 were build). There are two surviving examples today. One is displayed at the german gliding museum on the Wasserkippe and the other one is storage at the aviation museum in Krakau.
Flying:
The airbrakes are very bad (as were the ones on the original), you have to do a sideslip to the ground. Watch out for the ground effect.
The glide ratio gets worse with extended flaps and gear. Also when you don't fly strait (keeping the Yawstring in the middle)
otherwise it flies just like a normal glider...
Have fun!
