F-16C Viper V4.2
General Dynamics F-16C Block 52 Viper
For SimplePlanes
Country of Origin: United States
Role: Multirole Fighter, Air Superiority Fighter
Crew: 1
Livery: Special USAF 35th Fighter Wing (Red/Yellow Band)
The F-16C Block 52 Fighting Falcon, more commonly referred to as “Viper” (a moniker that has practically replaced the original name), was originally envisioned as a lightweight air-to-air fighter. However it evolved into a multirole throughout its service, a change made possible by the overdesigned airframe, which had double the structural lifespan requested. The F-16 was the first aircraft designed to be intentionally aerodynamically unstable, using a fly-by-wire system to maintain controlled flight. In addition to a high thrust-to-weight ratio, this allows the F-16 to be extremely nimble compared to its contemporaries. The Block 52 C-model incorporates an improved engine, avionics, and weapons compatibility.
The F-16 is the most widely used fixed-wing aircraft in military service, being operated by the United States, Israel, Pakistan, Turkey, Denmark, and Venezuela, among many other countries. It is also the aircraft used by the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron, “Thunderbirds,” who operate the F-16C and two-seat F-16D. Additionally, there have been several upgrade programs for F-16’s. Author’s Notes
- Fuel and gun ammo is unlimited.
- On takeoff, I recommend 60% trim with auto flaps enabled. Get to around 300 km/h and give slight taps for the pitch to avoid tail striking. (For keyboard users)
- On landing, use the trim to achieve your glide slope and adjust using pitch. (For keyboard users)
- To get the most out of the turn rate, slow down if above 900 km/h.
General Changelog
- Redid the sloping on the fuselage and horizontal stabilizer base.
- Widened front intake to make more accurate to Block 50/52.
- Reduced top speed and acceleration.
Weapons Changelog
Uses [RD] Weapons Balancing Version 1.3
XML Changelog
[V4.1 07/14/2022] New energy retention system.
[V4.2 08/09/2022] Improved target pod tracking. Added stabilized roll and and stabilized yaw to FCS. Slight changes to handling.

Best F-16C in SP!
It’s simple, it flies like it should, it has great attention to detail, and it includes great weapons.
好可(๑><๑)
@ReinMcDeer I guess we'll see...
@TheWeebREBORN godzilla?
I think this and the raptor should be similar in pitch rate except at low speed where the raptor is superior
@ReinMcDeer this thing is actually starting to look like the new IVR king, one might even call it Godzilla? Lol I guess we'll see if the F-22's matchmaker has been made soon.
@Dizwerwirt It’s a 9g airframe in real life. That doesn’t exactly come from nothing, you know? In fact, it is the first production plane in history that was intentionally designed to be aerodynamically unstable - accordingly, it’s also the first fly-by-wire production fighter. This build actually does a very good job at approximating the agility and (lack of) stability of the F-16.
@Dizwerwirt The Viper is a very twitchy aircraft, which is replicated here. You have to counter-roll if you're flying with a keyboard.
Yeah, but the shape doe @BlackWidowSquadron
@Diloph The F-22 will outperform it easily.
Could you also update your gripen
@ReinMcDeer oh, that's nice. To add to the Raptor, have you considered making other stealth planes? :)
@TheWeebREBORN Typhoon? 👁👄👁
@ZeroWithSlashedO @Diloph Thanks!
@TRD6932 Technically everything before the F/A-18F is outdated :v. I've been thinking about doing the raptor again
@RainMcDeer The "storm" is coming soon...
Nice, when will you update your F-22? It's started to show its age.
can you rebuild a plane with sharp maneuverability like your Su-27 that was made a few years ago?
I love this f-16, after I made one, saw one in real life, saw the agility and a 1/6th scale RC model of one I can confirm no plane beats it, it’s prettiest jet out there
2 to go
1/3 planes
Looks good
great as always :)
@ReinMcdeer can you please make an f35
Nice 👍
