4th of a 10 phase release, no peculiar performance behaviours yet and from tests, seems to be docile. Yes I am aware that the DC-8-61 exclusively use JT3D-3B and not the JT3D-7 as far as Wikipedia is concerned, however the nacelles of each engines are distinct and the -7 subassembly I have saved reflects it better than my -3B subassembly, all in short; I am short of time.
Anyways with that out of the way, some new things in here, most notably the wingbox+undercarriage assembly, it has been extensively reworked from my previous DC-8 series; the DC-8-71F Air Transport International, and is actually a third gen DC-8 43m Undercarriage with more realistic flap model oh Lord the flaps, best flaps I have ever made so far. That and yet it consumes significantly less parts than the one used before, instead of 396 parts just for wings and undercarriage, its now 176 parts with no compromise of detail!
I'm real proud of this, in a span of ten months, I have refined the DC-8 family fairly well. My first DC-8 project, the DC-8-32 Eastern Airlines, while I'm still proud of, seems rather dated with it's shoddy construction, inefficient part usage, and distorted dimensions. With this... well I have no words for it, I can only imagine what ten months would look from now.

@Annedzsrue I think the cause was improper maintainence. It was the airline who order not to inflated the tires of the DC-8, this simply was cutting corners. Ultimately, when the plane got to Jeddah, the final chance to save it from the disaster, asking other airlines to help inflate the tires, were gone out. Once the plane took off on that hot mid-summer day, that fire and everything follow, was history. The worst DC-8 disaster ever, 2nd worst air disaster in Saudi Arabia behind Saudia Flight 163, and the final nail in the coffin for Nationair when it bankrupt in 1993, 2 years after the crash, and the time the final report was released.
It would be better but if I'd add the fire tho..
I found this other one but it won’t work…it used to :(
Plz add fire of flight 2121
annedzsrue, a theif named @FineAirDc8 stole the aircraft.
time to recreate flight 2120 :D
@FlyingPlane okkkkkk
@FlyingPlane hmmmmmmmm
@Chuckie1026 ik but the crash was Nigeria airways
@FlyingPlane it’s Nationair not Nigeria airways
Nigeria Airways Flight 2120
Nice plane
This Is Nationair Flight 2120
@Jelybaca I'll try again but I just know that two of your plane blew up XD but still very nice job on them
@Brian101m It's probably pilot error. I Haven't encountered such issue you describe during flight tests and afterwards.
Just tried two of your very impressive aircraft...this one and your dc 8 but there's one truly tragic problem...when retracing the gear after takeoff the plane is blown to smithereens and crashes the game with the explosion 💥
Nigeria Airways Flight 2120
Nice
@samplays40 on the left or on the right side? (and which device)
Is there a feature that causes a tire fire on takeoff? (I’m so sorry.)
nice plane.Althought why doesn't the slide didn't appear on my screen?
@WiiMini Oh dang that's bad
July 11, 1991, we never forget.
Pls make a b 34 ?
I love how the planes have to land fast as that was something rl.
