Sorry
I haven't really been uploading because I didn't really know what to build. I was looking at the Cold War Challenge and I was inspired to build a Navy Aircraft (Obviously this is a fictional aircraft) like the Grumman C-2.
Controls
VTOL - Flaps
AG1 - Landing Lights
AG2 - Fold Wings
AG3 - Engine 1 (Left)
AG4 - Engine 1 (Right)
AG5 - Nothing
AG6 - Nothing
AG7 - Arresting Cable Hook
AG8 - Nothing
Procedures
Startup:
- Unfold Wings if they weren't already. Make sure to activate AG3 + AG4 to start the engines. Set flaps to the second tick for takeoff.
Taxi
- Taxi at around 10 to 20 knots until reached takeoff spot (runway or catapult)
Takeoff
- Line Up; (only for ground, not carrier) Set to full throttle,
V1 = 180 knots
VR (rotate) = 200 knots
V2 = +240 knots
. Gear up is when you have a positive rate (IAS = 220 knots ALT = +100 feet from AGL (measure before tkf). Retract flaps when 10,000 feet MSL
Cruise
- Keep at same altitude.
Landing
Carrier Landing: Lower speeds to 180 knots IAS and lower gear + full flaps + Arresting Hook (AG7). Activate AG2 to fold wings
Normal Landing: Lower speeds to 180 knots IAS and extend gear + flaps only. Use brake when both MG (main gear touchdown). Folding Wings is only for small airports.
Notes
- inner wings flap weirdly lol
- the us military logo was mine (yes, i made it!)
i hope u like it! pls upvote and comment! :P
