S.O.Vre Starchild III
S.O.Vre's debut aircraft in the new decade and among the best light fighters in history, the Sovre Starchild III was a short range, supersonic, carrier-capable light fighter used exclusively by the Canarvian Air Force. It was designed with uncompromising performance in mind, and the result was a plane that, while relegated exclusively to the fighter role, could handily beat all contemporaries in a dogfight. It also introduced S.O.Vre's newest missile triple-mount system, allowing for more firepower in a smaller footprint on the surface area of the wings.
Note: no braking chute on this one. Just an FYI in case you try to land on a really small runway expecting to decelerate quickly.
The sample here is dressed in CNAF Two-Tone Twilight (dark grey, and black, basically).
VTOL slider - folding wings. Neutral position is flight-ready. Bottom position is folded down, though I'm not sure why you would want to do that. Top position is folded up.
1 - arresting hook
4 - spotlights
5 - anti-collision lights
6 - landing and taxi lights
7 - navigation lights
The Starchild III, as weird as it is, is actually the second design of Starchild and essentially just a redesign of my first Starchild. The original Starchild wasn't based off of any specific jet, and since the III is based on the original, the III also isn't really based off anything. I just wanted to make this one as thin and light as possible.
