Puma 2A1 (P) Prototipus LAV-TD
Huge thanks to @SodiumChloride and the Simpleplane stuff discord server for the feedback on the first version of this vehicle.
The Puma 2A1 (P) Prototipus is a Light Armoured Fighting Vehicle/Tank Destroyer prototype made for the Neo-Bundesweher (hopefully written right), after the complete dissolution of the UER. It carries a 105mm autoreloading cannon and 2 HMGs, one on the turret roof and the other as a coaxial. The vehicle has 30mm of armour all around the turret and 15mm all around the hull, with the sideskirts providing 10mm of extra armour above the wheels. Can go up to a speed of 130+ Km/h.
Development: It started development in 2011 by Porsche to serve as a complement to the Leopard 2A6 Main Battle Tanks, doing both firering support, reconnasence and infantry support. During 2015, the project saw a major revamp with new technologies, new types of shells and even ATGMs capable of being fired from the vehicle's main gun. In 2020, the first fully serviceble prototype was shown and orders from multiple countries were made. The realese date is around June 2023.
