Area88Challenge-JH-7A
JH-7 is the first two engine, two seat, supersonic, all-weather fighter bomber designed and developed in China in 1980s. Designed and developed by China Aviation Industry Xi'an Aircraft Industry Co., Ltd. (Code: 172 factory) and aviation 603 Research Institute, it is mainly used for campaign in-depth attack and sea and ground target attack, and can carry out supersonic flight.
JH-7 began its research and development in 1973, and its first test flight was successful in 1988. The aircraft made its first public appearance at the 1998 China International Aerospace exposition. Later, the aircraft was mainly equipped with Chinese Navy aviation.
On the basis of JH-7, JH-7A slightly improved the aerodynamic shape, adopted new materials and equipped with new radar and avionics system, and greatly improved the combat effectiveness. JH-7A is equipped with naval and air force aviation forces simultaneously.
