BGM-165C Excalibur
Background
The Excalibur is a stealth land attack cruise missile fielded by the Federation. The Excalibur was intended to utilize sophisticated autonomous targeting capabilities with better accuracy than previous missile systems fielded in the Federation. The Propeller was chosen as the means of propulsion as it significantly reduces the infrared signature of the missile. The propeller would fold forward and deploy after the booster was jettisoned. Though this limited the missile to a maximum speed of 455mph (Around 100mph less than the Tomahawk Missile fielded by the USN) it allowed for the missile to have a higher fuel efficiency, lower noise output, and reduced infrared signature.
