Auto Credit Based on CadMonster's P-38 Lightning V1.12
This is how I would invision a 1949 WW2 experimental plane. They would use the body of a solid plane, upgrade it with jets. I decided to try and make it a VTOL (the L part is non-existant) using jets only, no VTOL engines, which were developed later.
To fly: 100% power. As it lifts, it will start tipping back. Slide the VTOL slider down, and push up on the elevator. It will end up almost vertical, but will gain speed and level out.
