CA-1 "Haida"

Tryna build smth for once

Lore reason:

In 1967 the RCN issued a new requirements for Lockheed to develop a new Attack Aircraft but this was cancelled after the Canadian government revoked the Right of all fixed-wing Aircraft, both from the RCN and the Army. All subsequent Aircraft operations were transferred to the RCAF.

In 1971 the project was revived due to a need for a CAS / Long Range Attack Aircraft to support the army and engage the Soviet fleet, this time for the RCAF. the Aircraft, Designated CA-1 "Haida" (Official Designation CF-141 and for the sake of the lore, the Canadian never even consider the Starlifter) took its first flight in 1974 and a year and a half later serial production began. The whole fleet was modernized at the turn of the millennia to include a new BAE Systems dual-autocannon, modern avionics, and uhhh glass cockpit?? Well semi glass MFD cockpit or smth like that. Also for the sake of the lore just imagine the U.S. selling Hellfire and JAGM to the RCAF

The CA-1 was named after the Haida People and is also a reference to the RCN destroyer HMCS Haida.

Controls and Activation Group:

Pitch and Trim = Stabilator
AG2 = Air Brake
AG3 = Canopy
AG4 = Lights
AG5 = Initiate Carpet Bombing
AG6 = Jettison Fuel Tank
AG7 = Jettison All Weapons

Notes/Misc:

Was also trying to add an aerial refueling probe and ejection seat, but it doesn't look that good and also the detacher/pylon got affected by G so the canopy keeps vibrating when pitching (for the probe and ejection seat respectively). Also the real Thrust to Weight ratio is closer to 0.45 cuz cosmetic engine

Was built and tested in High Physic so expect some clunky behavior in lower Physic (like the landing gear vibrating up and down at high G).

480 part version for minor performance boost ig = https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/z99217/RCAF-CA-1-Lower-part-count
