The scout cruiser HNS Alsvider, or also known as a large destroyer flotilla leader has undergo a series of rebuild in 1949, such as replacing the original 135mm L/57 DP naval gun with the latest 114mm L/61 DP naval gun that comes with an auto-loader, replacing the old 37mm L/95 Mod.1936 AA guns with 37mm L/100 Mod.1947 which has a seperate fire control radar. Two 305mm anti-submarine mortars were installed at the stern.
