The Paternian Air Force's Guardian program is a long series of converted cargo gunships for use in counter-insurgency operations. This is the latest in the series, armed with 120mm mortar 20mm cannon, and the provision for guided munitions. With an array of multi-spectrum sensors, it is easily capable of picking out insurgent positions for destruction.

This particular aircraft is part of the 171st Attack Wing, seeing combat in the Paternian-Gran Hispana War. Nicknamed "Puff the Magic Dragon" after a song of the same name, it provided support for advancing Paternian and Unity Defense forces. While taking much damage over several missions, it managed to survive the war.
