HELLO.

(read VERY carefully, this build isn't flyable if you're lazy)

So here it finally is, my attempt at making the famous F-5E Tiger II.
After more than a year of building, I'm done, but not because it's finished, because I can't handle it anymore, so there's no point for me to keep it for myself and not share it.

This build got :
-Kinda realistic cockpit interior, even if there's a lot of missing stuff.
-Custom landing gears, wings and control surfaces.
-Semi-realistic flight model, it feels alive, must be used with a stick.
-Most mechanical features of the original plane work on this one too.
-Fully useable in screenshot mode (F9).
-MisterT s walker, so you can walk while grounded or after ejecting.
-A very cool livery :) .
-A pilot named Bob, which retracts while in cockpit view."
-A working radar and weapon system.
-Usable in VR.

Controls :

AG1 : Open canopy and activate the FPS walker.
AG2 : Level front landing gear.
AG3 : Emergency arresting hook.
AG4 : Open brake chute.
AG5 : Free front wheel direction.
AG6 : Activate chaffs.
AG7 : Activate Flares.
AG8 : Closing fuel flow.

F-5E Tiger II Manual :

Start-up procedure :

(no need to do it in that precise order)
Switch the battery on,
Activate both left and right generators,
Switch both left and right fuel pumps on,
Start both left and right engine.

In other terms, activate all the switchs and buttons inside the yellow circles :

It's that easy.

On ground procedure :

Before take-off
Start the plane up,
Free front wheel direction,
Level front landing gear to increase AoA and decrease take-off distance.

Taking-off instructions :

Full after-burner (re-heat),
Once around 100 Km/H, deactivate front wheel direction because of the rudder being now effective,
Without payload, quit the ground around 280 Km/H, with full payload quit the ground around 340 Km/H,
Once airborn, retract landing gears.

Landing instructions :

Good luck. But you can refer to the AoA indicator.

Weapons procedure :

Switch the Arm Switch,
Remove the Weapon Safety Cap,
Switch the Missiles and Guns Arms Switch (only for air-air payload),
Then select which weapon to activate with the payload selector.

Jettison procedure :

The selected payload will be jettisoned if both the Jettison Electric Circuit Switch and the Jettison Selected Stores Button are activated.

For emergency jetisson, remove the Jettison Everything Safety Cap then press the Emergency Jettison Button.

Restrictions :

If loads above 5Gs or below -3Gs, you will loose your payload.
If exceeding speed of sound, you will loose more or less all your payload too, how sad.
Roll at very high AoA may cause inverted roll controls.
Pitching all the way up with high AoA and speeds below 350 Km/H can cause flaps malfunction and lock them in a fully open position, reach speeds up to 600 Km/H to unlock them.

Credits :

-Thanks to MisterT, tu m'as aidé sur tellement de truc haha, encore merci.

-Thanks to BogdanX, WarHawk95, SourDoughBread,MAHADI ,realSavageMan, 2Papi2Chulo, Kangy for testing and feedback.

-Special thanks to my friend FalconDynamics, we made the same plane (but his is far better, click here to check it out if it isn't already done, it's a banger !).
I did take a lot of label texts from him because of lazyness.
and thanks to that we had a lot of funny discussion about SP, the F-5 and life.

I won't respond at comments asking something while the solution / the answer is in the description of the post. AND the start-up procedure works.

HOPE YOU'LL ENJOY THIS BUILD :) .

(Because I don't anymore.)

and now, some screenshots :

Give me some feedback !

Building this plane was very long (over a year), so some tags requests are very old too.

All tags were requested, if you want to be removed from the tags, just ask me to do so.

    @windshifter1 Thanks !
Sadly I use a map that isn't finished and which never came out, so it's not really possible to aquire it but it's a full size map of the falklands.
For reshade, if you may share me your discord profil it would be a pleasure for me to share the presets with you.
