BTD-1 Destroyer (Torpedo Armament)
Ever wanted to get rid of those pesky destroyers, well now you can with the BTD-1 Destroyer, equipped with not one, but two torpedos. Features custom landing gear, torpedos (duh) and some nicely shaped wings.
Big Credit to @LiamW and @EternalDarkness for helping make this build so much better.
Controls:
AG1- Torpedo
AG2- Other Torpedo
Torps should be used under 500ft however they are somewhat workable at heights below 800ft. For best results drop below 300ft. Also, drop a good distance away from the target so you do not destroy yourself from the massive explosion.
AG8- Navigation Lights
VTOL - Flaps
Brake -Airbrakes
Infomation:
On 20 June 1941, the United States Navy placed an order with the Douglas Aircraft Company for two prototypes of a new two-seat dive bomber to replace both the Douglas SBD Dauntless and the new Curtiss SB2C Helldiver, designated XSB2D-1. The resulting aircraft, designed by a team led by Ed Heinemann, was a large single-engined mid-winged monoplane. It had a laminar flow gull-wing, and unusually for a carrier-based aircraft of the time, a tricycle undercarriage. It was fitted with a bomb bay and underwing racks for up to 4,200 lb (1,900 kg), while defensive armament consisted of two wing-mounted 20 mm (0.79 in) cannon and two remote-controlled turrets, each with two .50 in (12.7 mm). This prototype however was in the end converted into BTD-1's when they were produced.

Sometimes it cost's a life to sink a destroyer but a lot of the time its worth it and why i'm saying this is cuz i sunk the destroyer in the WW2 torpedo bomber misson but the BTD-1 Destroyer got hit right before the torpedo's hit the destroyer and it became a flaming aircraft
nice!
This thing is quite deadly... @CoolPeach
Nice!
@Maxwell1
Haha. Yeah. I used this plane to complete the WW2 mission, with the new torpedos. It worked! @CoolPeach
A bit outdated though, now with the new 1.7 torpedos
@Maxwell1
This thing is really cool!
10-4! @CoolPeach
iOS all the way!
@Tang0five
Wow this is good. Inspirational for other iOS users like me!
@CoolPeach @InternationalAircraftCompany // Yes they did add them, I have the steam version though so it might be a bit different if you bought off this website,
I might consider it, seems very similar to this plane though, but it'll be something new
@AdrianFlyingAce
Did they?
I didn't see that in the update notes
@ThePlaneCreator
Wait what? @ThePlaneCreator
They added torpedos in the beta test lol, but great scratch made torpedos nonetheless
