USS Pennsylvania BB38
"Old Falling Apart"
"she expel so much metal that its seemed she was falling apart. During the guam campaign she fired more ammunition than any warship in history in a single campaign."
History
The USS Pennsylvania was laid on the 27th of October, 1913 and was the lead ship in the Pennsylvania class with one other ship, the USS Arizona. During the December 7th attack she was in drydock, which may have saved this ship from distruction. It is believed she was the first one to get her guns up on that fateful day, and by the end of it, fired nearly 64,000 rounds with 2 confirmed kills, with an additional 4 claimed by her crew. The two ships ahead of her in dry dock we're severely damaged and one caught fire. The fire burned so hot, thr paint on the bow of the Pennsylvania burned off. It has been accredited with many battle commendations and by the end of the war, was to old to maintain. She was used as a target ship during nuclear bomb testing, and was scuttled due to radiation. Her bell was salvaged and resided in Pennsylvania.

Builders Note: this is my first attempt at a large ship and i feel it came out rather well. Im proud of how it came out and proud to represent my state with this replica. Learning about the history of the ship that bares my states name has been a wonderful journey. I love this ship, and wish it would have been saved as a reminder of the men from a different generation, who felt no fear, and were more than eager to bring a fight and avenge their brothers in arms whom they lost on that December day. I decided to wait to post this build until memorial day, because today we remember our veterans, and today we remember the men who fought and died on this ship, and the legacy she leaves behind. A ship is given life through its crew, and in my opinion, her crew was some of the best the navy could ask for. Happy memorial day everyone.
*Special thanks to Kroixo for testing and the two thumbnail screenshots, and LiutenentSOT for testing and feedback! Thanks bros!
keep looking to the stars

@Mrherpderp probably wont honestly. I rarely do ships and my next one is for his next challenge and it'll be fictional. I honestly doubt after that that ill do another one. Im focusing on cars, specifically doing american short track cars now.
Can you make the battleship texas?
@BMilan yea very fair. Once i get my computer running maybe can redo her a bit better 😂. Thank you for the kind words. Indeed very proud, 90% of the entry's are double my part count so see where another 600 parts can get ya 😂. I think i estimated the cage masts if i did them right would be like 100-200each so yeeeaaaaaaaa......
@PapaKernels Yea, device limitation is a pain (hence why I put the 2500 limit in the beginning, to give low-end users a chance)
Still, it's not a bad entry and you can be very proud of yourself for being able to do this much even with your device limitations.
Thanks for participating! o7
@BMilan i was expecting the evaluation to be that bad 😂. Device limitations are definitely the reason 90% of the details are excluded. If i could have i would have done a full replica but that would have been damn near 2k parts and this here its my phones max so yea the evaluation is fair. Thanks you for creating the challenge! Definitely was thinking of building her but your challenge gave me the push i needed. Wish i could have made it better for ya!
Official evaluation
Additional Points (-0, +3):
+3 for being a very solid first attempt at building a ship

@PapaKernels Okay you've used up your LaughingCrying Emoji allowance for today.
You no longer get the skin, and thus can only use skull emojis. Your allowance will be reset at June 3rd (3/6/23) 8:00 UST.
Thank you for your patronage in breathing this cursed air.
