Background
The Mobile Tactical High-Energy Laser (MTHEL) is a mobile laser defense system developed for military use. Used in groups of three spread out around the zones it's designed to protect, MTHEL can provide instantaneous response to incoming hostile artillery, rocket, mortar, and drones. Testing of the system in 2001 and 2002, MTHEL shot down 31x artillery rockets and 8x 155mm artillery shells.
