[TGT] T2 Ironclad Battleship HMS Inflexible (1876)
Target Series!
the HMS Inflexible is somewhat my first ship of the said era, and i said "somewhat" because i remember I once had built an Airship based on the USS Maine, a bit of a very.. large age gap i know but still the same era bracket. anyway, enjoy your ironcladding shenanigans.

notes : Inflexible is the first Ironclad-era ship I've ever built, although arguably the Maineroon(which is an Aerial Armoured Cruiser) is the first one also, but the first official Ironclad ship I made is the HMS Inflexible, it came out rather nice and smooth too for a ship that is vastly different in design than what I usually tackle.

@Graingy YEP! i think i remember a story about the sailing rig having a power akin to an ant pushing an elephant, so they removed it lmao
This was the one built with a citadel sufficiently buoyant to float with the ends flooded right?
The one with something like 50cm of belt iron, excluding other layers?
The one that's crazy wide for its length?
A Sailing rig that served virtually no purpose other than to provide the crew something to drill on?
@Samfpanzer interesting...
I think I’ve seen this type of hull in
ultimate admirals: dreadnoughts
@Graingy i- well, i am a lemon kisser so

I was gonna say we can just call Soia since there's only one of them, but I seem to have forgotten the hotline... somehow.

Send for steely support,

You'll need a Soian save!

:(
Yes
(This has been a blast, but I'm afraid I must leave my laptop and attend to other duties. It will be quite impossible for me to keep up that kind of pace any further, so I'm afraid this might have to be postponed until later. Goodnight, comrade)
@Graingy ...indeed honk
And I'm a grain of sand from Mars.
Funny site, innit?
@Graingy I AM A DUAL-SWORDWIELDING GOOSE BATTLESHIP, HONK
