Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless
This US Navy instructional flim should be able to teach you everything you need to hit your target.
CONTROLS:
VTOL DOWN: Takeoff/Landing Flaps
VTOL UP: Dive Brakes
AG1: Release Bombs
AG7: Arm tailgun
AG8: Lock Pitch/Roll controls
SBD stands for Scout Bomber - Douglas, these planes had to double as both the eyes and fists of the US carrier fleet in 1942. I keep typing out long, sentimental descriptions of just how vital SBD aircrews were to the war in the Pacific, but it's probably better if I just post some links.
Battle of Midway
Dauntless Scout Bomber
Instructions on how to use the tailgun (CAMERA 2):
Hit AG7 and AG8
Right click the mouse
A gunsight pipper is included to assist your aim (white dot, center screen)
Instructions on using the belly window (CAMERA 3):
Some divebombers from this era included floor windows that allowed the pilot to spot and line up their approach to the target. Paying attention to your artificial horizon (this only works if you're flying level), use the thin black line to set up a straight approach to your intended target. When the target reaches the center of the screen it is exactly 60 degrees below your plane, a perfect time to begin your dive.
Bomb Aiming:
Just in case you didn't bother with the instructional film, the bombs are most accurate when your dive angle is above 60 degrees, 70 is best. Keep your crosshairs well below the target while you line up your angle untill around 3000 feet. At 3000 feet, hold your crosshairs directly on or slightly above the target. At 1000 feet, release the bombs, pull up as hard as you can AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!
FUN FACT: I was finally able to land on the USS Tiny!

I have to say, your plane is very strong. It is almost intact after 12 minutes of anti-aircraft bombardment
@Knesb3 You have to move the engine forward a little in the builder. It used to work but for some reason now its screwy.
Hey I don’t know why but when I throttle up the prop moves but then stops
