This was more of a pain to build than I thought it would be. Here's Freightliner, a large and heavy cargo transport craft. The interior is fully hollow to allow stowage of cargo. The back opens up, and the ramp folds down with AG1 and VTOL down to allow access. Be sure to deactivate AG1 while in flight, because VTOL also controls the flaps on the wings. The plane itself handles pretty well for something so large and heavy, and the flaps make landing a breeze. At full, the flaps can support a level glide at 15% throttle. It also doesn't have much maximum speed, but that's to be expected.

@SHCow It was also proven to be exceptional at strafing, and was generally a huge nuisance to axis supply lines.

@JoddyFubuki788 Oh I know more than enough trivia about the P-38. It IS my favorite plane after all.

Good enough to take down yours? Because P-38's did some outstanding missions including kill the Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto :3

It's alright, better to keep different than all the same unless you want to create a replica like your badass P-38L...

@JoddyFubuki788 Most of my inspiration came from the C-5 specifically, since I work with them all the time. It's much smaller though, the wings are swept more, and there's only two fans.

Hmm quite a mainstream huh? C-17, C-5, C-1, C-2, An-42 and even A400M used the overall same design unlike any other

@JoddyFubuki788 It's kind of a generic cargo plane design inspired by all the features most modern heavy lifters share.

@SHCow It's kinda big. The wingspan is 131 ft. Which is actually small compared to real-life cargo planes. The An-225 has a wingspan of 290 ft!
